Aftercare is a term we use for the respectful handling of your pet’s body after the transition is complete. Unfortunately, this is an additional, and emotional, decision that must be made prior to your pet’s transition. Many of my clients are not aware, or haven’t thought of, this part of their pet’s care. It’s also something that should be decided upon in case your pet passes without my help as I do not provide aftercare for the pet that passes naturally. If I help your pet transition, then I can facilitate a cremation, either a private one where you would receive your pet’s ashes (cremains) back, or a communal cremation (no ashes returned) with a burial of the ashes at sea. There is also an optional clay disk paw print available. Both the cremation and paw print are provided for an additional fee if I facilitate them. Below you will find several companies that provide cremation services if your pet passes naturally.
